According to UN statistics, Scotland is the assault capital of the world with the nation leading the way in violent crimes.

An anti-crime campaigner from one of Scotland’s largest anti-knife groups has stated that the law and punishment for offenders in Scotland lags behind England and the rest of the UK.

The number of assaults on Scotland’s paramedics has gone up by more than a quarter since 2005, with 2014s figures reaching a ten year high according to figures from STV.
